Assigned to cover an array of beats including local elections, health, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the protests of 2020.  Earned a Gracie Award for coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic and was a Third Coast finalist. Filed swiftly and accurately for both radio and the website on tight deadlines, while also cultivating sources and producing longer-form work.

Sent out on array of assignments to gather facts from breaking news scenes.
